Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant

One of the most crucial problems in modern civilization is malnutrition. This is not necessarily malnutrition due to poverty or food shortage, like in third world countries, rather suffering caused by the way we feed ourselves. The fallout of malnutrition may lead to irreversible diseases. These signs and symptoms can likely be reversed unless we ignore these warnings.
Fortunately there is hope. Our modern society is leaning to a new vigor and vital interest in nutrition. This focus is not aimed at the traditional dietetic and scientific field. In fact, for the past 50 years, science has dominated the civilized world with research and testing and food manufacturers exploit this using profitable advertisement and offer supposedly beneficial artificial foods. Sometimes these foods are doing more harm than good.
As we move forward, the health of each generation is becoming slightly more compromised than the previous generation. It becomes evident that there is no diet right for everyone. It is an individualized and unique diet, just like you.
Using a individualized in-take form, I am able to help identify and support you as a whole person; physically, mentally, and spiritually, through all stages of life and health. We will work together to provide individualized recommendations and monitor your progress until health and wellness goals are reached.

What is Trigger Point Therapy?

This therapy works on muscles that are tight and have knots. These knots, or Trigger Points, can cause pain in the local area or in areas other than where the knot is located. These knots directly affect how a muscle works and prevents full lengthening of the muscle. The body will compensate accordingly and recruit other muscles to do the work which leads to muscle imbalance or a pulling on an attached ligament or joint. The Trigger Point is a hyperirritable spot that is most often associated with a hypersensitive palpable nodule in a taut muscle band. The spot is usually tender when pressed and can produce characteristic referred pain, motor dysfunction and autonomic phenomena. An Active Trigger Point is always tender, prevents full lengthening of the muscle, weakens the muscle and refers pain on direct compression. Trigger Point Therapy is effective for neck, back and sciatic pain as well as Tennis or Golfers elbow, Frozen Shoulder, TMJ and migraines. Trigger Points may be caused by a number of factors including muscle overload, activation of other trigger points, disease, stress, diet, muscle imbalances or direct trauma. Treating the muscle knot with direct pressure will loosen and eventually release the muscle, alleviating the pain.

What is CranioSacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy addresses the cranial and sacral system. This system includes the cranium, spine, and sacrum that are connected by a continuous membrane of connective tissue deep inside the body called the dura mater. It is a light touch approach to gently manipulate the skull bones, spine and pelvis. This therapy balances the entire craniosacral system including fluids, nerves, and connective tissues. Craniosacral therapy balances the flow of the craniosacral rhythm so the body’s natural healing responses can function. With a combination of release techniques, craniosacral therapy releases tension in the fascia and connective tissues so the body can repair and heal.

What is Neural Manipulation?

Neural Manipulation is a light-touch hands-on treatment that releases local nerve restrictions while at the same time examines the effect these local fixations (blockages) have on the rest of the body. When a nerve is blocked, it loses its ability to stretch. When we access the nerve, we can assess the relationship between the nerve and the body and change some of the dysfunctional patterns. Neural Manipulation enhances proper functioning of the nervous system - one of the communication highways throughout. This treatment can help with:
